Panorama Series 2009

Each panel 30" x 7"

 

Taking my favorite places from Israel and a US road trip, I connected them with a wide panorama. The Israel painting reads from the right to left, the North of the country with planes of Tel Dan, enter the thicket of Yehudiya Forest, plunge into the chilly water of Nahal Snir, start the long walk to Gordon Beach in Tel Aviv, and finally see my husband at my Aunt’s kibbutz.

 

The American painting starts at the Smoky Mountains, progresses to the Shenandoah and ends at the Blue Ridge Parkway.
